Angelman is rare genetic disorder that affects the nervous system, causing developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and problems with movement and balance, but unfortunately you may have never heard of it even though it affects so many families across the world. To help raise awareness for Angelman Syndrome, a triptych poster was created in collaboration with Annalee North and Pearce Davis to help shed some much needed light for this disorder.
We wanted to make sure that viewers really understand what is happening in the body so everybody has a more general understanding of exactly what is is that some people must go through on a daily basis. We talk about how it occurs, different variants, epilepsy due to Angelman, and how families help treat and live on a daily basis.
